Ports Structural Engineer
Job Description:
- Design small to large projects with a primary focus on structural, geotechnical, and general civil design elements of project.
- Design projects ranging from general site layouts to complex structural design.
- Possess a detailed understanding of soil-structure interaction under gravity or lateral loading.
- Perform design tasks to clearly illustrate constructible/practical plans, details, and technical specifications.
- Observe construction field to verify general conformance with contract documents.
- Produce documents such as studies /reports, designs, details, sketches, and opinions of costs.
- Design heavy industrial port and harbor maritime-related projects along with construction observation.
- Utilize the following software: Staad Pro or SAP 2000, GROUP, LPILE, CWALSHT, AUTOCAD, Optimoor, and Microsoft Office.
Requirements:
- Master in Civil/Structural Engineering with two years of experience.

Senior Civil/Structural Engineer
Job Description:
- Structural analysis, design, and detailing of concrete, steel, and timber structures.
- Lead the preparation of design concepts, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates.
- Prepare/review design calculations and check calculations.
- Coordinates design drawings with fellow engineers and drafting technicians.
- Participate in inspection and rehabilitation of existing structures.
- Perform design checks as part of the LEI quality metrics and best practices.
- Help resolve design problems that may include performing field investigation or inspections, detailed design works and detailed checking of design computations done by others.
- Calculates quantity estimates.
- Work closely with other disciplines.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Master’s preferred
- Professional Engineering registration in Texas or possess ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
- Ability to work on Federal Projects and meet federal requirements to do so.
- Possession of or eligibility to obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) preferred.
- Familiarity with AutoCad, SAP2000 or STAAD and Ensoft (L-pile/A-pile)
- Availability and willingness to travel
- Solid math and analytical skills and detail-oriented.

Design Drafter
Job Description:
- Drafting designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Collecting and creating structural details required for designs.
- Creating site layouts and site plans to illustrate the workflow of designs.
- Design of proposed roadways, utilities, surfaces, and site planning in accordance to GIS mapping.
- Organize and compile storm sewer, sanitary sewer and water line design.
- Organize and compile roadway plans and profiles.
- Collaborating with the design team to review drawings and designs.
- Adjusting drawings according to feedback from engineers.
- Ensuring designs comply with company regulations and quality standards.
- Scope of work is levees, dredging, and trench.
- Experience in land development.
Requirements:
- An Associate’s degree in drafting preferred.
- At least 4 year’s experience as a design drafter or a similar role.
- Expert knowledge of CAD software, drawing programs, and Civil 3D.
- Proficient in surfaces (grading, groups, and break lines)
- Proficient in making corridors.
- Proficient in creating profiles and cross sections.
- Ability to create volume reports.
- Excellent knowledge of engineering design principles.
- Solid math and analytical skills. Very detail-oriented.
